Areas of Practice

business strategy - Start ups, small business ENTREPRENEURS, non profits, direct sales, network marketers, mlms

The world of business is ever growing and evolving, and we’re not just talking about mergers and acquisitions.  Business start ups require a solid strategy build upon legal principles.  With the consistent introduction of varying revenue streams, technology and distribution channels, the opportunity for profit grows, but so does the complexity. We take pride in clearly explaining and navigating the often foggy landscape of sustainable business strategies and its relationship to business professionals of all types.

pageant and wedding Prep

Demystifying the fundamentals of fundraising and contract law is in itself a creative practice. It requires finesse, strategic structuring, and, in many ways, empathy. At the end of the day, preparing to compete in a pageant and preparing for your big day is profoundly personal. In such matters, assistance from SDML in navigating through the process almost always yields the most fulfilling results. It is imperative to have legal assistance in fundraising, balancing expenses and understanding contractual obligations from the selected pageant, service providers and vendors to ensure your business deals are fulfilled, your core interests are preserved and disputes are avoided.

private family & personal matters

The life and the law is constantly in flux, so you must be able adapt quickly. SDML strives to anticipate these changes so you can focus more on enjoying life. Our private family matters include: General Consultation, Executive Advisor, Wills, Medical Directives, Criminal, Traffic, Divorce, Child Custody, Credit Report Assistance, Financial Improvement, just to name a few. SDML tailors each resolution according to our clients private family need and budget.

digital media, marketing and Business branding

Digital media and marketing yourself is a little bit like the Wild West. There’s a lot of potential in the world of social media marketing, but the rules can be convoluted and vague at best. Building and protecting a brand or even a single ideal involves intellectual property, copyrights, trademarks, and patents. A successful case requires creativity and flexibility. SDML advises on potential pitfalls and guides clients to successful outcomes.

Ideas, tangible or not, are the most important things to protect in today’s competitive creative market, especially when you are building a brand around YOU! With so many social media channels and constantly replenishing feeds and hashtags to watch out for, retaining truth and integrity in your brand development tracing the ownership and originality of a design, brand name, or invention needs the laser-focused eye of a trained attorney.
